- Winner of the 2005 Blair L. Sadler Award by the Society of Arts in Healthcare. CCA was chosen to receive this prestigious award in recognition of its innovative ability to enhance the quality of the healthcare experience for patients, their families and caregivers.
- Winner of 2004 National Family Volunteer Award by Points of Light Foundation. CCA was one of only two organizations chosen among thousands nationwide to receive this prestigious award in recognition of outstanding family volunteering activities, innovation and ongoing community commitment.

charity.- Winner of 2004 Agitator Award by Working Mother Magazine. CCA co-founder and executive director Regina Ellis was one of three working mothers (also known as "Moms with Moxie!") to receive the magazine’s annual Raising a Ruckus Award for making great things happen in their communities. As the newly named 2004 Agitator, Regina was chosen among thousands of entrants from around the country.
- Portland Business Journal named Regina Ellis one of the 40 Top Executives Under 40 in 2003
- Charming Shoppe’s Inc. awarded Regina Ellis a "Top 100 Women’s Voices” award in 2003
- A Pediatric Chemo Pal® volunteer was awarded the Blazer’s Heart of the Community award in 2003
