Thursday, September 20, 2007

Tiger Woods Center, Nike Campus

Beaverton, Oregon

The Children’s Cancer Association will honor and acknowledge the generosity of our supporters, leaders and sponsors with this elegant evening of food and wine, inspiration and laughter. Featured at the event will be the 2007 Wall of Courage, showcasing our local heroes.

The Hero Gala is a great way to get involved, make a difference, and increase your corporation’s visibility in the community. A limited number of tables are available. Ensure your space as an event sponsor ($10,000 - $3,000) or a table sponsor ($2,500) by calling Jessica Jarrett at 503-244-3141 ext. 104.

This extraordinary event is presented by Jeff and Malia Owens.

(left to right) Jimmy Fowkes shares his courageous story. Linda and Erica Yoshida lead off the special appeal. Guests frantically bid on incredible auction packages. Board President Tim Phillips and Health Net CEO Stephen Lynch share the stage with the Owens family, who were one of the Ruby Red Slipper Awardees. Awardees also included Debby and Darell Grant and our dear friends Nelson, Terry and Terri Ann from the Buzz Morning Show.

“There’s so much heart and soul at CCA. The organization’s quality of service is top-notch. CCA is sensitive and responsive to families’ needs that fall outside of medical diagnosis and treatment. I often ask myself, ‘If CCA didn’t exist how would families cope?’”
