Caring Cabin Eligibility Requirements

If your child is receiving active treatment for cancer or being treated with chemotherapy for a related blood disease, or is facing a terminal illness, we may be able to offer some comforting moments to your family. Please review our initial cabin eligibility requirements and see if your family is eligible to apply to stay in our wonderful respite home. Requirements include:

  • At the time the family stays at the cabin the child/adolescent is receiving active treatment for cancer, or chemotherapy for a related blood disease, or is eligible for hospice. The child/adolescent must be between the ages of 4 and 19 years old.
  • Confirmed diagnosis by a medical professional
  • Treatment is occuring in Oregon or SW Washington
  • Family is responsible for their child's medical needs. No medical or support staff is on site at the Cabin

  • Four private bedrooms
