Special Volunteer Team Does GOOD at CCA!

Considered one of CCA’s volunteer extraordinaires, Michelle Cartwright has a knack for getting the Customer Service Team at Nike jazzed about supporting CCA. In fact, it’s Michelle who time and again enthusiastically rounds up groups of fellow employees to label CCA’s various mailings throughout the year (including 10,000 annual reports!).

“It’s so easy to get volunteers when I tell them it’s for CCA, because everyone here just loves helping out such a great cause,” says Michelle. She also likes the fact that there’s something for anyone who wants to get involved. Her team does everything from handling mailings to volunteering at CCA’s Halloween Haunted House in Oaks Park.

Rumor has it that Michelle’s recently been on the frontlines of a zany new flamingo fundraiser, whereby fellow employees make donations to CCA and have their colleagues’ office areas flocked with pink flamingoes. “We just love doing things for CCA. All the people are amazing!”
